Women and freedom of dress are still debatable issues in India. Still there are many orthodox people and groups in India from various cultures and religions which want to see women wrapped under tons of the cloths. Controversies related to the women clothes have become a common affair in the present time, as more and more Indian women are trying to defy this rule. Fewer cloths of women are stilled believed as matter of shame and disrespect to society in India. For women gaining a freedom in dress in India requires many more struggles and change in mind of the radical forces.
