Recent increase in attacks on the women working in the night shifts has again put lime light on the situation of women who everyday drive away from their home to work in night shifts. Though, women are working in night shift from many years but in the recent few years, these numbers have increased significantly with the increase in number of BPOs. Women also have no option expect joining these jobs because of the good salaries offered by these jobs which is otherwise difficult to get in the jobs available in day shift. At present neither government nor BPO industry seems to have any solution about this problem but one thing is clear that a solution in this matter is required soon to save the lives of number of women.
