Women are major sufferer of love crimes in India. In India, many boys and girls are killed only because they have loved each other and mostly women are main victum in it. These kinds of trends are more common in rural and backward area of India where parents still do not want to take their children to take their own decisions. Some times the issues of caste, religion and poverty also fuel it. Parents still want to create a strict control on their children and so not want to allow them to commit any thing which is unacceptable to them or to the society in which they are leaving. So far no active work is done to stop these kinds of crimes. Most of these kinds of crime get the shelter of the society and police and innocent lovers remain without justice.
