In many villages of India, girls are still not provided equal opportunities like the boys. It is really strange to find these kinds of things happening in India even after so many years of independence. Girl child foeticide is already present in other world and it has even reached to the big cities. All these things clearly point out towards our double standards towards girls. We want them to be our girl friends, wives or mothers but it is hard for us to have them as our children.
